What are Augments?
Augments are Guardian add-ons that players can use to enhance their mechs in the Battledome.
What Augments can players use, and how do they improve the gameplay?
Players will be able to use Augments on both game modes. Augments have different passive effects, from boosting character attributes (health, armor, speed) to adding unique modifiers (bleeding, explosive mech & others)
How can I obtain Augments in-game?
Every time you play a game in Nyan Heroes, you have a random chance to obtain an Augment Lootbox. After opening the lootbox, you will receive a random Augment. These Augments can come in different rarities (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary) with increasing effects and memory cost.
The current distribution of Augments in Pre-Alpha is temporary and is subject to change.
How can players access and use these Augments ?
Players can select their desired combination of Augments in the main menu before joining a match. These modifiers are active by default and cannot be accessed or changed during gameplay.
Each Guardian has 15 Memory Units and players can mix and match Augments to suit their playstyle as long as the total memory of the Augments does not exceed past 15. All Augment effects will be passive throughout the match.
Steps to Access Augments In Game:
From the Main Menu, click "Loadout."
Select a Mech.
Click "Augments" in the top menu.
On the right side of the screen, find the available augments.
Select and drag your desired augment to the empty square "Loadout" boxes.
Save your changes.
