MODS are powerful upgrades that enhance your Guardian’s performance in battle. They act as expansions to your Guardian’s software, allowing pilots to customize their mech’s abilities and optimize their playstyle.
The MODS menu provides key details to help you manage and equip MODS effectively.
MODS come in five rarities, each with a unique color. Additionally, MODS can be leveled up to a maximum of Level 5, increasing their effectiveness but not adding new abilities.
⚪ Common – White
🟢 Uncommon – Green
🔵 Rare – Blue
🟣 Epic – Purple
🟡 Legendary – Gold
❤️ Health – Boosts Guardian’s HP.
🛡️ Armor – Increases durability.
💥 Damage – Enhances offensive power.
🔄 Recharge – Reduces cooldown times.
⚡ Speed – Improves mobility.
🔧 Utility – Provides special support functions.
Every MOD consumes Memory when installed.
At the start, you have 25 Memory, so choose your MODS wisely to stay within your limit.
MODS enhance your Guardian’s abilities, and understanding how they fit into slots is key to optimizing your build.
To unlock the ACTIVE Slot, you must first equip one mod (either a primary or a standard one) in each one of the three primary slots.
Once all Primary slots are filled, you can install your active mod in your Active Slot and gain a new active ability.
Standard Slot – The foundation of your MOD setup. These slots enhance or provide new passive effects, such as increased health, armor, regeneration or damage.
Primary Slot – Some MODS are designated as Primary MODS and can only be installed in specific slots. These help define your Guardian’s combat style.
Each Primary Slot is linked to one or more Standard Slots. In the future, combining certain MODS in these slots will unlock extra bonuses, like memory cost reduction! For now, you can ignore these links.
⚡ ACTIVE Slot – MODS that unlock new active abilities can only be installed in an ACTIVE Slot, but this slot must be unlocked.
