Basic Troubleshooting
System Requirements
First, make sure that your computer meets our PC System Requirements.
Restart Your Computer
Something as simple as restarting your computer can resolve any video or crashing issues you may encounter.
Manage System Resources
You may have low available memory due to other applications or processes running on your computer. Here are a few steps you can take to improve it.
1. Disable Background Applications
If you're noticing poor performance, we recommend removing unnecessary startup programs and manually stopping any unnecessary applications through your task manager using CTRL+Shift+Esc. Here you can stop any unwanted programs running.
2. Video card software
Any video card software for forcing particular video modes should be disabled. Please see the Refresh rate and VSYNC for more information on managing your screen refresh rate.

Use the links below to download the latest graphics driver from your manufacturer:
4. Lower your Video Settings
Increasing resolution, or any video option beyond your recommended settings will have an immediate negative impact on your FPS.
Start the game
Click on Settings
Click on Video and select a lower video preset.
5. Verify Game Files
To verify the installation of game files, navigate to the game in your Library and click on the three dots or right-click on the game icon.
On the drop-down navigation, click Manage.
Once open, click 'Verify' from the list of options
Depending on the size of the game it may take a few minutes to verify all your files. Once it completes click 'Launch' to start Nyan Heroes.
